LKA Championship Show

Boys were good again today with Duke winning Limit and Good Citizen and Will coming 3rd in Open and showing so well again.

Midland Counties Championship Show

Nice day today with Duke back in the ring after a long break and winning limit dog and then the RCC - his fourth.  In the Stakes Klasi was 2nd in Good Citizen stakes winning our petrol money home again!

2013 Eukanuba Champion Stakes Final

Well what a wonderful experience this day was!  I felt so honoured to have made it through to this prestigious final and be representing our breed amongst such esteemed company.
As always Klasi showed so well and I could not have been more proud of him! 

After just 5 years of showing (and 6 years of owning dogs) it was a dream come true for Klasi to have gained is title at the age of three and in just 5 weeks from first to last CC. Huge thanks to Judges Peter Taylor, Ken Sinclair and Jill Peak.  Klasi then had 9 months off so we could concentrate on our youngsters and came out at his first show back to win his fourth CC under Andrew Brace at Blackpool.  Shown only another 5 times this year mainly in Stakes classes, he won Open Dog Stakes at Windsor under Stuart Mallard, the RCC and was 2nd in the Eukanuba Champion Stakes daily heat at EOE under Bill Browne-Cole and Peter Radley.  He then Won the Eukanuba Champion Stakes daily heat at WKC under Mark Cocozza and was 2nd in  GC stakes under Margaret Deats and then qualified for the Eukanuba Champion Stakes final under Val Foss at Darlington. At Driffield he then won BOS under Gary Thomas and Good Citizen Stakes under Kevin Berry.
We are so very proud of this boy and reaching the final was just something else and more than we could have ever hoped for!

Driffield Championship Show

Another nice day with Klasi - Ch Mongoshi Gatecrasher doing the business again to win BOS under judge Gary Thomas and then the Good Citizen Stakes under Kevin Berry.
Our baby import Solino's Demolition Man also won BPIB so good day all round!

Darlington Championship Show

WOW What a day!  Klasi won another very big Champion Stakes class today and then went on to Win the overall show final!  He is now qualified for the UK final to be held on October 19th!  We are sooo excited!!! Many thanks to Judge Mrs Val Foss.
Hats off also to Rambo who came second in a very large Pro Plan Puppy Stakes class under Patsy Hollings.

Milton Keynes DCS 2 Day Open Show

Had a lovely day at this show that had such a friendly atmosphere across all breeds.
Rambo - Solino's Demolition Man (Imp Deu) was a little start at his debut weekend having just turned 6 months!  In the Breed he got BPIB and RBOB and the judge liked him so much she wanted to give him BOB but I couldn't handle him and Will so he was unsettled.  He then got PG4 in the group and shortly after strutted his stuff in the big ring to win the Puppy Stakes.  To top it off we went into RBOB Stakes and he got a 2nd in with all the adult dogs!  So pleased with how he went as it was an inside venue with lots of noise.
Will - Habiba Will I Am At Casacavallo JW showed well in the breed to win Open and BOB but sadly was a diva on the table in the group and the JW Heat as both judges were men.
Also took little Mac for a day out and he had a whale of a time and came 2nd in PG.

WKC

Lovely Day at WKC with Klasi first coming 2nd in Good Citizen Stakes under Margaret Deats and then winning the Champion Stakes under Mark Cocozza.  We made the long journey back to Wales for the Champions Stakes final on Sunday but did not progress any further. Very pleased nonetheless as Klasi was in great company and got beaten by the BIS from Bournemouth and the Pastoral G1 from Bournemouth, so he did pretty well just to be in the same ring as them!

East Of England Championship Show

Long and very  hot day at our local Championship show today.  Only Klasi showing but Rambo came along for a day out and to see what this showing business is all about!
Klasi as always showed his heart out and never put a foot wrong, I could not have asked more of him!
He got the RCC in the breed but the highlight of the day was coming 2nd in the Eukanuba Champion Stakes.  I so love showing this dog, he has a temperament to cherish and is very special indeed.  We feel very blessed to have him in our lives.

Windsor Champ Show

Rainy Day at Windsor champ show today!
Klasi went along for the Stakes Classes although we ended up missing most of them as they clashed with the breed.  He did make Open Dog Stakes however and won the class under Stuart Mallard and got us £25 in prize money thank you very much!
In the breed classes Will won Junior Dog and moved so well.  We are so happy with how this young man in maturing!

Blackpool Championship Show

Wonderful day with Klasi winning his 4th CC under Andrew Brace.
Klasi has not been shown since gaining his title last summer and so we were just delighted he went so well and was as reliable as ever. (And thoroughly enjoyed himself too!)
Duke also did very well to win a 2nd in Limit despite a very sore foot having ripped a nail a few days prior.

Three Counties Champ Show

Super day at today under Liz Stannard with Will winning a very strong Limit class (his first time competing in the adult classes) and Duke winning 2nd in Open and then the RCC!  So proud of our lads!

Southern Counties Champ Show

Breezy day at Southern Counties Champ Show.  The Boys showed well considering the chilling wind and Will, Sparkie and Duke all got 3rds, and then Sparkie and Duke went on to get 3rds in their stakes classes and bag some lovely rosettes and dog food!

New Addition!

After a brief trip to Germany and France, today we came home with a new addition!  Once again HUGE thanks to Iris Schultz for entrusting us with the ever so special Solino's Demolition Man - AKA Rambo, and for her hospitatlity! 
He is Bonds brother and Kamis Half brother and has the famous Solinos temperament.  We are very excited about this boy and look forward to campaigning him later in the year.

Bath Championship Show

WOW what a day!!!!  Will won his first CC!!!!!!  I was pleased enough with him winning Junior as this gave him his last points for his Junior Warrant but when he got the ticket I was just lost for words!  Huge thanks to judge Albert Wight!
Sparkie also showed well again to win another strong limit class and Duke was 3rd in Open
What a memorable day!

The National Championshp Show

Super day under Stephen Bardwell today with Kami qualifying for Crufts with a 2nd in Undergraduate and a 3rd in Post Graduate, Will coming 2nd in Junior (still not sure about male judges!), Sparkie gaining his stud book number with a 1st in a very strong limit class and Duke coming 2nd in open and then being awarded the RCC.  Very happy!

WELKS Championship Show

Windy day at Malvern today but judging moved inside so we were spared the cold!  Will won Junior and Duke was 3rd in Open and 1st in GCD under breed specialist Dawn Dixon so very pleased with the results!

Wellingborough District Canine Sociey

Another freezing cold day and show!  Kami won Junior and then BPIB, Will won Post Graduate and Duke was 2nd in Open.  We didn't stay for the group as it was just tooo cold!!

UK Toy Championship Show

Lovely day at UK Toy today under Zena Thorn-Andrews as the judge.  My heart dog Ziggy won Graduate and Post Graduate which we are over the moon with!  He showed his socks of and really enjoyed himself!  Rufus was 2nd in a strong limit class and Duke was 3rd in Open.  Many thanks for the judge especially for still liking Ziggy whom she gave BPIB to back in 2009.

Eastwood Kennel Association

Cold day showing today at Newark, however well worth it as Kami won BPIB and then PG2!

CRUFTS 2013

WOW!  What a day we had and so very proud of our boys, especially our very special young man Habiba Will I Am!  - First up in PD he showed his socks off and won a lovely class with some strong competition - I was over the moon as he was such a good boy!  Leibwache Nothing But Nitro was up next in PGD and considering how little I have shown this boy, he moved like a dream and was placed 2nd in a class of 15!  Konishiki Finale JW turn next and as realiable as ever he won a 3rd in a very strong LD class and then went on to win GCD!
And so to the dog challenge....once again Will showed like a dream and beat his kennel mate to BPD - we were just over the moon!  The long wait ensued whilst the bitches were being judged and then finally time to challenge for BPIB! It had been a really long day, but Will was on form and really on his toes and did not put a foot wrong. He was up against a Moonswift bitch so I new the competition was tough but he showed well and so maturely, I could have burst with pride when our breed specialist judge came over and awarded him BPIB!!!  Just over the moon!  Big thank you to Lisa McKenzie for thinking so highly of our boys and especially for Wills BPIB and also to Robert and Stuart for allowing me to have such a special young man and all the help and support with him.
Most definitely a day to remember for life!

City of Cambridge Canine Society Show

Another nice local show today with all boys showing very well and having fun.  Highlight of the day was Will showing like a pro to win Post Graduate and BOB against strong competition.  The mad two had lots of fun and bouncing around and Kami won BPIB and Rufus 2nd in Open.  Many thanks to Judge Naomi Cowley.

Boston Champ Show

Nice easy trip to this show just 5 minutes away!  Boys all showed well - Duke won Open and RBD, Sparkie won Post Graduate, Kami was 2nd in Puppy and Will was 2nd in Junior!

2012 in Review

Well all I can say is we are VERY proud of our boys this year!  We took less boys to less shows and still came away with our best year yet.
An absolute dream come true to have made up a UK champion after just 4 years showing and 5 years owning dogs and I cannot thank everyone enough who has supported us in achieving this.
I am indebted to all the breeders who have entrusted us with such wonderful boys, so many friends for advice and encouragement and my mum and husband for all their help and support.
