South Wales Kennel Association Championshop Show

Enjoyed just taking one dog to show today and he certainly did not let me down. Will showed lovely and was awarded the RCC by breed specialist Margaret Kempster.  Highlight of the day was the comments from people I highly respect ringside so thank you! x

We are very proud of his achievement!

Bedford DCS

Kiddys third open show today and he won Puppy and Junior and RBOB under breed specialist Raewyn Dowsett to gain his final points for his Junior Warrant.
Kiddy achieves this title at just 10 months of age with 30 championship and 4 open show points so we are very proud of his achievements!
Rufus also went along for the day and won open!

Barking Canine Club Open Show

Wonderful day at Barking CS show today with Kiddy at his second open show winning Junior, Post Graduate, BOB, BPIB and then G1 and PG1!  He showed his socks off all day and we couldn't be more proud of him!  Many thanks to both breed and group judges for thinking so highly of him!  We also too Rufus along and he won Open and RBOB.

Sunday 21 September 2014

Driffiled Championship Show

Nice day all round with Will showing awesome to get a 3rd in Open.  Kiddy was the star of the day though winning his class in the breed under Sue Terry, but then winning the Puppy Dog class in POTY stakes under Geoffrey Davies with over 30 dogs present.  If that wasn't enough he then beat the Puppy bitch winner which had gone BPIS at Darlington to win the overall daily heat, and then totally showed his socks off in the BIS ring for the show final and came reserve to the overall winner!    Really over the moon and very grateful for the judge liking him so much.

Sunday 14 September 2014

Darlington Championship Show

Well this showground had always been my Lucky one LOL  Last year I qualified Klasi for the Eukanuba  Champion Stakes UK final here and the year before he got his crowning CC.  But today out lucky streak was broken for Klasi who had no wins to shout about LOL
Kiddy showed well and won BPD again under Liz Cartledge which was great as she also considered him for the RCC and Will was 4th in Open but showed well.

Saturday 6 September 2014

Richmond Championship Show

Lovely sunny day with just two dogs today who both did me proud.
Klasi won OD and the RCC and was then shortlisted in a big Champion Stakes Class and Kiddy won PD, BPD and then was 3rd in a large Pro Plan Pup of The Year Stakes class.
Judge was Luis Pinto Teixiera

Friday 29 August 2014

City of Birmingham Championship Show

Breezy day at todays show but lovely day all round.  Kiddy won PD and BPD and was shortlisted in the Pro Plan Pup Of the Year Stakes, Rufus won GCD and Will was placed in OD.  Klasi went just for the Stakes and was third in his class.
Breed judge was specialist Sheila Wrenn

Monday 25 August 2014

SKC Championship Show

Lovely Show in Scotland with the Boys who all showed so very well and did me proud.
Kiddy won PD and BPD, Will was fab and was 3rd in LD and Klasi won Open and the RCC. His lovely daughter Katie also won the RCC with Kate so great day all round :o)

Friday 15 August 2014

WKC Championship Show

Lovely to be able to show out at this show which was a first for me!
Took Kiddy and Klasi who both showed well and came 2nd in PD and OD respectively.
Highlight of the day however was our co own bitch, Klasi's daughter; Konishiki Inclined to Smile JW SHCM gaining her 3rd and crowning CC and BOB.
Katie gained her first CC at City of Birmingham in 2012 under Ken Sinclair, when she was owned and handled by the breeder and my very dear friend Linda Rupniak
The second came with Kate Bryson at the helm whom Katie now lives with at The National this year under Rainer Vuorinen and it was Tom Mather who crowned her!
We are all so delighted!

Sunday 3 August 2014

Chinese Crested Dog Club Championship Show

A wholly wonderful day at this show under Toy Specialist Rita Morgan

Kiddy was the star of the day winning Puppy Dog and then beating some super puppies to win Best Puppy Dog and then topped the day winning BEST PUPPY IN SHOW beating just under 40 puppies total!!  We are just over the moon at how well this happy little boy is doing and big thanks go to the judge.

We also took Will who won a super strong Open class and Rufus who was reserve in a great limit class and then 2nd in a Stakes class.
All round super day which we will remember for life!

Thursday 31 July 2014

East Midlands Canine Society Open Show

Lovely time at this popular evening show.  It was Kiddy's first open show and I took Klasi along too, who I don't usually show at open shows but he has just a few SHCM points left to get.
Our breed judges the 2013 Crufts winner Gavin Robertson (Soletrader) and he awarded Kiddy 1st in Puppy, and then Klasi 1st in Open.  I was then thrilled in the challenge for Kiddy to now only win BPIB but also take BOB, beating champion Klasi who got RBOB.
The groups were judge by Donna Hayden who awards CCs in Yorkies and once again I was thrilled for Kiddy to get Adult BIG2 and then Puppy BIG2!  What a little star and only just 9 months old!
Many thanks to both judges!

Sunday 27 July 2014

Leeds Championship Show

Great day at Leeds Champ show today in lovely sunshine.  Kiddy showed as happy as ever and won MPD, BPD and then BPIB under judge Dr Andreas Schemel which we were thrilled about.  He then got shortlisted in a massive Junior Stakes class under Robin Newhouse which was great at 8 months old!
We also showed Sparkie for the second time this year and he was second in open behind the CC winner so we were very happy about that as well.
Klasi went along for the stakes but his lucky winning streak came to an end and he only managed a Reserve in one class netting £10

And Klasi who was only in stakes was shortlisted in a very strong Champion Stakes class under Val Foss

Friday 20 June 2014

Blackpool Championship Show

Another super day at this lovely show, with Kiddy coming 2nd in MPD and showing so well, Rufus 3rd in Limit and the Klasi winning Open and his 7th CC! We are so thrilled for him to have taken the ticket here two years in a row and are very grateful to judge Howard Ogden for thinking so highly of him.  Klasi also went in open stakes under Jill Peak and got a very respectable 2nd and then Kiddy was shortlisted in a humungous Pet Plan Junior Stakes under Ken Sinclair and got some wonderful comments!.  Sadly we missed our other stakes classes as they all clashed.

Below is some SloMo Video of Kiddy and Klasi on the move and the judges critiques for both.

MPD 2. Crow's Just Kidding Of Angel's Legacy, 7 months, shown on Dutch ATC number yet interestingly out of Vanitonia Dam, equally stunning and title bound. So well constructed, shorter in muzzle, not quite the freedom yet in profile action but this will develop as he does, has shape and style. Superbly conditioned, has depth, level, balanced angles, glorious.
OD 1. Crow's Ch Mongoshi Gatecrasher 5 years old at his peak with grace and flow, he is a touch up on leg for perfect balance and could have a darker eye but the whole picture is absolutely crested and particularly once his skilled handler lets him freely circuit to showcase his reach and drive and elegance. Unwavering profile, immaculately conditioned that was unrivalled here, clean front, level, deep, good head proportions, muscled, goes true enough, good tail carriage and surely a significant addition to the gene pool. CC.

Saturday 14 June 2014

Border Union Championship Show

Another amazing day in Scotland making the 10 hours round trip more than worth it!
Judge was breed specialist Irene Jennings, who gave Kiddy 2nd in Puppy Dog, then Ziggy 1st in a very strong Post Graduate dog, then Rufus 1st in Limit Dog and the icing on the cake Will 1st in OD and then his second CC!!!
We are so delighted for Will as he has been a real challenge and went so well today.  Also for Ziggy who is only shown once a year and showed like a total pro.  He has now always been placed first under this judge right from when he was a puppy winning RBPIS, so I was a special moment!
Just awesome day, so massive thank you to the Judge for thinking so highly of our boys!

Unfortunately we didn't manage to get any video of Will, but here is Ziggy on the move in SloMo

Three Counties Championship Show

Beautiful Sunny Day at this showground which was lovely.  We only had Kiddy entered in the breed under breed specialist Stuart Payne and he was placed 2nd in MPD.  We had another great day in the Stakes however with Klasi winning open stakes under Liz Cartledge and then coming 2nd in Champion Stakes under Mrs J Gill-David and then Kiddy getting a VHC in a massive Pro Plan POTY heat under Mrs C A Coode.
Was lovely to win a really nice trophy in open stakes too, especially from such a highly renowned judge!

Saturday 31 May 2014

Southern Counties Championship Show

Nice sunny day but unfortunately we were second in the ring which meant us clashing with all the stakes classes so we had to miss them which was unfortunate.
In the breed Kiddy was 2nd and showed fabulous again, Duke won his class and Will and Klasi were both placed.
Such a shame to have missed the stakes though as we had 4 classes entered!

Friday 23 May 2014

Bath Championship Show

Wet, windy and cold day at Bath, which is a shame as its my favourite show of the year due to great rings and layout.  The boys were not on form in the breed classes as were not keen on the strong wind, but Kiddy managed a 2nd in MPD and Rufus a 2nd in LD.  However it was in the stakes classes that they came into their own with Kiddy winning the Pro Plan Pup Of The Year MPD stakes class under breed specialist Bob Brampton and then Klasi winning Champion Stakes under Mr C Hastings and PAT Show dog of the year, qualifying him for the 2015 Crufts Final.  We returned on the last day to challenge in the Champion Stakes but sadly progressed no further, but Klasi as always put on a sterling show and did us proud!

Friday 16 May 2014

Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show

Amazing day at SKC under breed specialist Caroline Holmes.
Kiddy showed so well and won a really strong Puppy class, Will then won Limit and Klasi won Open and the his 6th CC.  His daughter Katie also won the RCC with Kate so amazing day!
Huge thanks to the judge for thinking so highly of our boys!

Friday 9 May 2014

The National Champ Show

Lovely day at this show which was Kiddy's first time in the ring.  He showed like a pro and won MPD and then BPD under Rainer Vuorinen.

To top that off Duke handled by Kate Bryson was 3rd in Limit with Duke and Klasi was 2nd in Open and then placed in his stakes class.  Highlight of the day however was Konishiki Inclined to Smile JW SHCM, co owned and handle by Kate winning her 2nd CC (her first with Kate) and then BOB!  Huge well done Kate and Katie - proud of you both!

Sunday 4 May 2014

Chinese Crested Club of Great Britain Champ Show

Lots of laughs today with friends and all 3 boys getting placed with Rufus winning his class and having a ball being back in the ring!  Judge was Janet Knowles

Saturday 26 April 2014

WELKS

Wet day at WELKS today!  Klasi won Open Dog and Duke won GCD under Terry Burgess, but it was in the stakes  under Robin Newhouse that we had the best day with Klasi winning open stakes and then coming 2nd in Champion Stakes and Duke also being placed in GCStakes.

Tuesday 22 April 2014

Dunstable DCS

We went to this open show today to take our new addition along for the experience.  The highlight of the day was truly how happy and outgoing he was and what a great time he had meeting people and having a little practice.  We showed in the breed and Rufus achieved RBOB.

Friday 11 April 2014

New Addition

We took a trip to Holland and had a nice day in Amsterdam en route to pick up our fabulous new addition.
Introducing the delightful Just Kidding Of Angel's Legacy, AKA Kiddy

http://www.chinesecrested.no/en/registry/119073/Just+Kidding+of+Angel.s+Legacy+at+Casacavallo.html

Kiddy is a superbly constructed boy with a wonderful outgoing happy temperament and we are going to have a lot of fun with him!  We cannot thank Sylwia Florecka enough for entrusting us with this very special young man, who we are very excited about!

Sunday 6 April 2014

Chinese Crested Dog Club Show

Great day at the club show with lovely atmosphere as always.  Judge was breed specialist Raewyn Dowsett and we are very grateful to her for awarding Habiba Will I Am At Casacavallo JW 1st in OD, BD and the RBIS.  Duke was also 1st In LD so a great day for us!

Wednesday 2 April 2014

Wellingborough & District CS

Nice day showing and catching up with a great friend!
We were privileged to have Frank Kane as our breed judge so I took Klasi along as a one off and he won BOB and then Group 2 under Andrew Marsh.
Duke handled by Linda Rupniak was 2nd in Open, Sparkie won Post Graduate and Rambo was 2nd in Junior.

Saturday 29 March 2014

UK Toy Championship Show

Fantastic show for us with all boys doing us proud!
Klasi won a very strong open class and then his 5th CC!
Duke expertly handled by Kate Bryson came 3rd in the same class, and  Rufus showed his socks off and won a very nice Limit class!
So so thrilled with all the boys and big thank you to Judge Michael Quinney!

Tuesday 11 March 2014

CRUFTS 2014

We had a much better than expected day at Crufts so send many thanks to judge Geoffry Davies.
Rambo was spooked by the tannoy in Special Puppy and went unplaced, but the judge asked to see his mouth twice as he couldn't believe it was soo good for a true hairless!
Sparkie was not feeling the love but showed adequately enough to get a reserve in Post Graduate, and the same with Duke who also refused to use his ears in Limit also getting a Reserve.  Both big classes of over 20 dogs so very happy to have been in the cards at all when neither performed anywhere near at their best.  Rufus showed mainly on two legs in Good Citizen to come third and Duke handled by Linda Rupniak won the class!
Highlight of the day however was Klasi coming 2nd in a very strong Open class which I was thrilled with and the Judge commenting on how my dogs mouths were a credit to me!
All in all a good show for us!  Just need to figure out how to keep them interested for next year as they were all bored silly by Midday!

Friday 17 January 2014

Manchester Championship Show

Well after both of my cars not starting finally made it in time for judging.
Took Klasi for the stakes and he managed to win our petrol money home again  but winning a strong Good Citizen class under Tom Mather.  Then had will in the breed who was also a very good boy and came 2nd in Limit behind the BOB winner.

Sunday 12 January 2014

Boston Championship Show

Nice day at this nearby show with Klasi winning Open, BD and BOB and Rambo winning PD, RBD and BPIB - Many thanks to Judge Leila Tarabad who also wrote some lovely critiques for them both.

1. Crow’s Solino’s Demolition Man (Imp Deu). 10month h/l who is well up to size for his age but couldn’t deny his sound construction, lovely condition and super ring presence. Nice head properties with correctly shaped dark eyes, good mouth, well tapered muzzle of correct length, large ears well placed and used constantly to enhance his expression. Long, graceful neck into good shoulders, level topline, well made rear and good tail set. Moved with confidence, sound when viewed from any angle. BPIB.

1. Crow’s Ch. Mongoshi Gate Crasher (Imp Deu). Striking h/l dog who again is well up to size but I had to look past this as his quality was obvious. He strode into the ring as if he owned it and showed his socks off throughout the class. His outline is very nice, long sloping neck leads to well laid back shoulders, legs set perfectly under his body with broad chest, good tuck up and well muscled, correctly angulated rear end. His masculine head is well proportioned with dark eyes, chiselled cheeks, muzzle finished neatly and large well set ears which he used very well. The icing on the cake was his super movement.  I found it very hard to take my eyes off him as he powered round the ring, head held high, topline held perfectly and tail carried well. He was handled superbly, shown in superb condition with skin and coat looking fabulous and just had the edge over the bitch in the challenge. I found out later the BB was his daughter. BD & BOB.
